Recently, the innovation consortium of central enterprises in the field of new energy storage in China was officially launched. Guided by the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council and jointly led by the State Grid Corporation of China and China Southern Power Grid Corporation, the innovation consortium covers 33 central enterprises, 104 local state-owned enterprises, private enterprises, colleges and universities, scientific research institutes and community organizations.

The private enterprises selected for the consortium list are subject to strict inspection and screening by the State Grid and the Southern Power Grid. At present, the consortium has laid out 57 key research tasks in electrochemical energy storage, physical energy storage, large-scale support technology, etc., and will expand 29 key demonstration projects of new energy storage in the fields of communication and energy in the future, so as to accelerate the innovation and application of new energy storage technology in China. As one of the member units, Highstar will actively participate in the key technology research in the field of energy storage, and work with other member units to promote the national new energy storage technology innovation and industrial level to be at the forefront of the world.
